They seem to be back, other than the files from China. You made me nervous, though, so I just downloaded them all just in case they ever do truly vanish!

You are totally right -- they're broken now. They worked fine when I tried last night, and I downloaded everything in both XP and Enhanced formats -- 158 files. Even images on that page are broken now. They must be moving stuff around to get ready for the next competition, maybe? Those links have been broken for some time. But try inserting /ecompetition into the path, for instance: http://www.yamaha.com/ecompetition/MIDIFiles/2009/XPMIDIFiles2009/Yang_C_XP.zip instead of http://www.yamaha.com/MIDIFiles/2009/XPMIDIFiles2009/Yang_C_XP2.zip Hope this helps, Mikhail ________________________________

Thanks, that did it but it was sure a bitch. I had to copy the bad links from the site to a text file, add the missing part and then grab all the zip files using the correct links. I don't understand why Yamaha leaves this sort of error on their site. Doesn't all this free music help to sell Disklaviers? They spend a fortune doing the competition and then make it a major chore for anyone to listen to the music. I now have a complete set of all the E-comps performances and text files for adding meta data to wither MIDI files or MP3s.
