Converting files from MIDI to Disklavier (eseq)

Converting files from MIDI to Disklavier (eseq)

2011-01-19 by masterpatel

I've got a mx100b. Trying to see if there is a tutorial or a step by step process from converting a piano midi file to disklavier format the proper way to be sure it will work on the disklavier. I've searched the group but couldn't see anything clear cut.

Try the software on my website: www.carolrpt.com under Midi Player Tools.
I think the program you are looking for is MIDtoESEQ. If you are going to
put the files on a floppy, remember to use the old 720k floppies. Your
piano will play Midi files from a playlist on a computer, thru a Midi
interface connected via midi cables to your Disklavier. All instructions
are on the website.

Carol,

I'm getting a website at www.carolrpt.com - it appears to be offline.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
