Bob, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking.  See if this helps:

You can do at least two things with your sequencer:

a. Play your DKV using a MIDI cable.

b. Modify MIDI files and save them.

So for example, you could open a MIDI file, play the DKV via the MIDI port,
modify the file in memory and play it again, then save the modified file.  You
could then copy the modified file to a diskette and play it from the diskette
drive of the DKV controller.  It should sound exactly the same as when you
played it from the sequencer.
