Latest release is always available here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/dkvbrowser/

If you plan on discussing DKVBrowser, please join the yahoo group dedicated to
DKVBrowser here:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/dkvbrowser/

since DKVBrowser only works on MarkIV Disklaviers, discussing it on this group
which encompasses all models can be a bit disruptive.

Thanks!

Assume DKV Browser does NOT work with new DKC 850 Disklavier. Although I do see the Disklavier on my home network. And I can add files to it from my computer.

You are correct. Though I would love to make it work, and have tried to make it
work...it can't go any further without some input from Yamaha.

No, that's a new name to me. Bill has been representing my requests to Yamaha
up until now. What is Jim's title? Maybe Bill will chime in here and give us a
clue as to whether or not Jim would be the right person to talk to?

Thanks George!

Re: Thanks again

2011-03-12 by kassey22000

I'd love to have this app for my DKC-850. I wrote Bill Brandom at Yamaha asking them to support the efforts (he has been a great resource for support on my upgrade to my MK IIXG Pro). Perhaps they are waiting to release the upcoming update to the E-3 and 850 firmware to support other functions. It would be interesting to know how many Disklavier owners have upgraded to the 850 or how many even know it exists as an option.

Fingers are crossed :-)

DKC-800 versus DKC-850

2011-03-14 by nehs1975

The E3 pianos come from the factory with DKC-800 controller. When I was checking out pianos at a dealer last month, I remember the sales person using his iPhone 4 to remotely control the unit.

I don't know what iPhone app the sales person was using. But my question is, is there any substantial difference in terms of "feature offerings" between the DKC-800 and DKC-850? The iPhone app being one of them?

Joe
