I couldn't imagine Phil being the one. Mr.Megaohm is truly over-the-top one of the best in the modular synth marketplace. I've had custom work done from Phil that was faster than most. -David --- In dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com, "Welton Barker" <weltonb@...> wrote: > > It definitely was NOT MegaOhmAudio, and your candor and courtesy are admirable--not to mention, just plain good business! > > Thanks! > > --- In dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com, "peng3002" <peng3002@> wrote: > > > > Judging from your last post I'm guessing this is not me (MegaOhmAudio). > > But just in case it is AND because there are four customers waiting for their modules from me I have this to say. > > > > I'm totally embarrassed and sorry the wait has been so long! > > If any of the four feel a bit nervous or annoyed DO NOT HESITATE to contact me. I must say I'm a bit annoyed at one of the suppliers I rely on. But it's also a couple of my own mistakes: I redesigned the LFO Two pcb to make assembly easier for me and made a stupid error...err...TWO stupid errors so I'm now on waiting on the THIRD order to arrive. I guess I just have to manage my own expectations. I think I've been spoiled by the remarkably agile customer service at Synthesizers.com. From them, the average time for an order (in my experience) has been two weeks from placement to door. The difference seems to be, primarily, that Roger is running a business, and many of the others are simply using the web as an outlet for a mildly remunerative hobby. There's no fault in that, simply a difference in approach. > > > > > > I am glad to hear that your experience with the vendors you name has been good, and I will certainly look to those for any future needs that cannot be addressed with dotcom modules. > > > > > > Thanks for the response! > > > > > > --- In dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com, Christopher Winkels <cwinkels@> wrote: > > > > > > > > In the past six months I've bought Dotcom format modules from MegaOhm, STG > > > > Soundlabs, Encore Electronics, Synthetic Sound Labs, Grove Audio and a > > > > couple of others, and all the transactions were fulfilled in a reasonable > > > > span of time.
