No reason to use stereo.  Us a standard mono 1/4" jack

The industry standard quality jack is the Switchcraft 112a.  They are
only about $1.25.  However, it will have a different feel that the
open frame jacks in the dot com.  So, you probably may want to go
with the generic Chinese replacement sold at many retail outlets for
twice the price of the good jack.
