Re: New list

2004-09-14 by Dana Countryman

I'm in, Larry!
Great idea.

I just got off the phone with Guido, and we talked for over an hour
about the whole shutdown of the s.com newsgroup.

I'm not going to say anything bad about Roger, but his pulling the
plug on the newsgroup is the only thing I've seen him do that
makes him look childish and unprofessional.

True, there was some negativity lately, but please -- just don't
stoop to that level. Simple.

That being said, I'm ready to chat about synths, and NOT about
who's picking on who, who's grumpy -- blah, blah, blah.

I'm hoping that you -- Larry - will moderate this group and ban
people who consistently violate the rules.

Let's get back to what we all love - analog synthesis - and keep
the bickering off list.

We can ALL live together in a friendly synth world - whether it be
MOTM, dotcom, or any of the rest. It's all one big melting pot of
analog opportunity.

Cheers,
