I can make the custom cable from module to supply but how do I knock it down from 15v to 12v or will they run ok on 15v? I wouldn't run them from 15V in stock form -- there are usually some resistors that should be changed (but I would not be someone who could tell you what they were). I'm in the same boat, though -- I picked up a few Doepfer modules that I will be reformatting (to 1/4" jacks), but I only have 15V power. I have an old 12v supply that can be adapted for this purpose. > > I think this would be a great little thing for someone to sell... That's a good idea, and that's sort of what I'm doing. I got some 12V regulators (7812 for +12V, 7912 for -12V) and I also got a Doepfer power distribution board. I'll knock the +/-15V down to +/-12V using those regulators, and then I'll wire that power to the distro board, along with some decoupling caps. This hasn't been built and tested, yet, but I don't foresee any problems. You don't really need a PC board -- there is so little wiring involved that point-to-point construction will be pretty easy. -- john
