Rooger delivers a hell of a lot of value for the price. The main reason I do not personally use it is that I like to build my own. So, MOTM fits me personally a little better. > What excites me about MOTM is the variety of filters. That is indeed a major advantage Paul has over most everyone. My favorite is the MOTM-440 LPf filter. It is the best LPF I have ever used. > I'm not really hung up on the sealed pots and best of everything approach (though I certainly respect everyone who wants that) Different strokes for different folks. :-) Both approaches are valid. > ... when I get my dotcom to a certain point - I know I'll want to add at least couple of the MOTM filters and possibly other modules - and the possibility of getting them in dotcom format is just perfection. Hopefully, by the time I'm ready to add those, all the groundwork will be in place. :-) I am planning to put that in place for our first delivery of 2005. > Honestly, between the dotcom and MOTM lists - I've had more fun thinking about gear and synths the last few months (and planning out what I want to get and what I want to do with it) than I have with music in a long time. If it suppposed to be fun. Those that want to flame this and that just don't understand. It's all about fun and for some folks making a living (not me thank goodness).
