If you plan to use regular dot com style knobs and need a 1/4" shaft, I recommend these: Mouser part number 313-2000-50K. This is a 16mm Alhoa carbon pot (similar to what is used in dot com modules, but smaller). That model is 50K to match the Blacet circuit and does have a center detent. > and 2) I am thinking of using a blue LED for this but I am not sure which one to use, have you used any blue LEDs before? Yes, I used 10 of them in my exapnded PROM Blacet Miniwave to indicate which of the 10 PROMS is active since I can select them with voltage control. I had red and green ones in the bank and wqve select so I wanted a different color. There are plenty out there to pick from. Here is what I would consider wehn selecting them: Get a T1 size (that matches the dot com size format for LEDs). be sure to get a "diffused" one. The others produce almost a "point" of light that is not very appealing and will hurt your eyes if you look staight into it. You may also find that you need to make the current limiting resistor larger. Otherwise, the blue LED will be way too bright using the same current as the red ones.
