I'm hoping one of the Stooges will get this message, as I don't have e-mail on this pc... Remember the 'Blacet to MOTM' adapter panel that Blacet used to sell? It would fit one double wide or two single wide Frac Rack panels into one MOTM panel, and had pilot holes for 8 1/4" jacks at the bottom of the panel. When John discountinued these, I bought all I could aford, but I'm about to run out! How about a Synth Dot Com 1u panel to mount Frac Rack format 1u panels and a Synth Dot Com 2u panel to mount Frack Rack format 2u panels in? They don't need to come with screws and nuts to mount the panels, just pilot holes so you could use the same self taping screws as are used on the Frac Racks. In the 1u panel, you can get 4 x 1/4" jacks at the bottom, and you could set a mark on the back of the panel for the standard Dot Com jack spacing. That way if you did't need or want all 4 jacks, you just drill a small pilot hole from the back, then up size the hole from the front for your jack or switch. In the 2u panel, if you offset the Frac Rack panel, I beliece there is room for 10 jacks at the bottom and another 6 jacks up the side. Again, just score the locations for the jacks from the back and punch the panel mounting hole and mounting screw holes. Is this possible? Or maybe just make the exact same MOTM mounting panel that John used to make (I'm sure you could get permission from him, he stopped making them afterall!) Best of luck with Stooge Industries!
