Well, they *are* nice blank panels. ;-)  If you've got to have blank 
panels, that is. And if you like the old R.A.Moog look.

I would guess that the pricing strategy is designed to make it worth 
Eric's time to make and sell them.

The smaller the volume, the higher the unit cost. Wouldn't be nice if 
modules were as cheap like mass-produced consumer electronics?
