Slightly concerned about having undefined voltages. Wouldn't it be  
more useful to have a Schmitt trigger and perhaps a comparator on the  
inputs, so switching is clean?

I suppose it could make for an interesting feature, but if you try to  
drive the module with anything other than square waves it looks like  
you'll be getting some very random results.
