The SE is very cool (high geekness factor in a good way) but is very high priced. I would rather build another sequencer row in the dotcom or for that price I could also chain 3 prophet08 rack's for 24voice. Noone has mentioned the PEK,( I really only wanted one of those evolver boxes anyway). I am not a DIY guy (although I have yanked and rewired many guitar pickups in my time)and I would buy a prebuilt polydac in dotcom format in a heartbeat. I am leaning twords the prophet 08 over the andromeda for various reasons. main reason is the prophet is capable of daisychaining for 8, 16, 24, 32...ect voices and can be rack mounted. plus who wouldn't want the Prophet sound set in there arsenal. But: I have heard that the andromeda is the polyanalog pad machine to have. If I had the cash ....I would buy a prophet 08 today, but seeing that I don't I will remain on the fence. The dream set up is 2 prophet 08 racks, 1 supernova rack, and my dotcom 110 space. (currantly the dot com is only a full 22space studio cab, but a new portable cab and my first 960 are ordered. plus for a live rig, I like the fact that I could take one rack, a controller, and me laptop and I am off. Thankyou for the feedback always a hard desion when upgrading. l8r P
