Update: The roland GI-10 is a great little Pitch to midi box. It has two inputs, one for the GK type pickups, and one for just a 1/4" line. The 1/4" input is fun, I use my theremin for wave of hand noise stuff. when used with the GK pickups (I have the GK-3 installed on my Gibson SG) it really is a wonderfull thing. It tracks so much better than I thought it would. I also have the GR-20, but alas it was bought off ebay and came with no powersupply. I live way in the styx of western WA so as of this writting I am waiting for the powersupply to arrive in the mail. if you were like me and waiting for a reliable Pitch to midi converter, the wait is over. I got my GI-10 for $150US used and the GK3 pickups are around $150US also. So for all you guitarist's out there struggling to learn how to play piano, for around $300US your favorite AXE is now your main controller. l8r P
