Aliis,
Hello! Yes, this is one of the smaller groups.

Not too many modules are available in the dotcom format. The *similar* MOTM
format is very popular, however. Modules are available from SynthTech (of
course), Encore Electronics, Modcan's new B series is physically compatible
(but a different color), and Blacet is working more closely with the
Stooges. Speaking of the Stooges, the guys at www.wiseguysynth.com (Larry
Hendry, most notably) make what they call "Stooge panels" for converting
modules to the MOTM format.

The Stooges have done something with dotcom panels, too, though -- maybe
Larry can give us an update on that.

Some people are willing to combine MOTM and dotcom modules in the same
synth, even though there is a slight difference in how they look. I have yet
to see this in person (but soon I will!), so I'm not sure if the visual
difference is subtle or obvious.

Well, the group was larger at one time. I opened the group after
Roger upulled the plug on the synthesizersdotcom group in a little
fit one day. He finally re-opened the group. Thos on the list at th
etime wanted to keep this one open, but I guess most have left.

Yes, we have sold hundreds of these for BLacet conversions alone.
You can hardly lookinto a MOTM format synth without seeing some
BLacet conversions.

We did add Dot com format panels to our product line in th elast run
and made about 30 of them. Next time we run panels we expect to make
many more designs available in dot com format. Many will be MOTM
filters.

I have Ken Stone's great wave multiplier circuit in 1 dozen dot com
panels and the modules 75% bvuilt. However, I have not been able to
get the job finished. I planned to wrap up in January until a tree
fell on my house. That has consumed a month.
