I can't believe you're going to destroy a collectible VL-Tone! ;-P

For power, use a 9V voltage regulator that's powered by the dotcom's +15V power rail.

For amplification, make a simple op amp-based preamp. Check out Ken Stone's Stomp Box adapter:

What the crap do you want to make it into a module for when you could turn it into THIS!!!!!!
I stumbled upon Dr. Paradiso's site once about three years ago and I've been addicted to modular synthesizers ever since! Luckily I also stumbled upon the synthesizers.com site and found out you don't necessarily have to be a rocket scientist or a millionare to acquire one:)
I'd like to know what all he did and maybe just make a fancy Dotcom format interface module with a giant cable snake to a relatively unaltered VL-Tone.

I came across this picture and site about 3 years ago also but I still dont have the slightest idea of whats going on with this VL-tone.
