Re: [elektron] Monomachine routing questions

2005-01-09 by Scott Kellogg

It's possible that although have have your routing correct, you do not
have a trig set on your effects track to open the input. For example,
if you want to use, say, track 6 as a reverb for tracks 1-5, set the
output of tracks 1-5 to be AB CD. Then, set the input of track 6 to
CD. That way, the dry signal of track 1-5 is sent out AB, and the
reverb track captures the output of CD. At this point, however, it will
be silent. Put a trig on the first beat of track 6 (the first trig
button), and set the Hold parameter to 127. This will insure that the
reverb stays open for the entire measure. Also, for this scheme to
work, you need to have your output set to 3x Stereo + AB = Mix in your
Global config.

Regarding the cello input, just try playing with differerent parameters
and see what happens. Start with a Thru machine, and tweak the EQ,
delay, and maybe put an LFO on the filter base. Then try routing the
Thru to a Chorus, and play with more settings. The possibilities are
(for all intents and purposes) endless.

Hope this helps.
