Wow were you really able to replace the ESX with the UW? That's great news, I of course want to get an MD but I also really need a hardware sampler/drum machine. I feel I am missing my MPC that I sold awhile ago. All I really need is something I can get some drum samples into. Like a modern SP-12(yea I know you cant sample directly to ROM). Looks like the UW will fill both my needs. Do we need to worry about the Flash memory going bad after a while (years and years), since we will be writing to it A LOT? Or is that a memory myth.
