On Behalf Of taco6 >I'm an owner of an Elektron Monomachine and it is my only piece of hardware >outside of >my computer that I run all the typical apps on. I'm going to buy a >MachineDrum in Sept... >that'll be my second piece of hardware. Outside of those machines, which >are definetely >keepers, I'm looking at the Vermona Drum Synth and either a Roland SH-101 >or >a >MicroMoog. I have a few questions. As far as the SH-101 it's one of the coolest mono synths, limited, but you get a nice range of sound from it that are very playable from the controls and the best bass! the sub osc by itself is awesome. The sequencer is kind of useless on it for me at least. Right now I just play it but I got a FR revolution for midi>cv needs. Here's a little something that's monomachine, SH-101 and korg EMX for drums. The SH-101 does the bass mel in the beginning part and most everything in the second part via recorded overdubs in logic. http://www.nmisystem.com/music/release.mp3
