Which Audigy model do you have exactly? I know the Audigy 2 ZS External
Hub as FULL SIZE midi ports on it. If you have the original Audigy 1
card with the drive bay add-on, it uses mini midi jacks to save space.
My card came with two short adapter cables that plug into these mini 4
pin sockets and terminate to a normal midi socket that I can connect any
regular midi cable into now. If you don't have these, you should be
able to purchase them from creative or online elsewhere.

Here's a link to cable I'm speaking of.

You would need two of these, you would then be able to use the midi on
the front with your normal midi cable connected to your MM.

Your card (I'm assuming is an Audigy 1) also comes with a joystick/midi
connector on a bracket. I believe this would be your Audigy MIDI 1 in
cubase, and the one on the breakout box would be MIDI 2. Either should
work okay with your MM.

If you have a motherboard joystick/MIDI port, make sure you download
the drivers from your motherboard manufacturers webpage to enable it.

I learned just about everything I know from reading Keyboard Magazine
and Electronic Musician every month. At first, most things and
terminology was over my head, but with time, I picked things up and
learned more and more.

Good luck, come back with more questions if you're still having trouble
