Elektron Musical Instruments

Right, 

I've had my MD for about 3 months now and it's now full of sequences/patterns for my live 
set... I am using it in combo with an mpc 4000 which I use to sequence my Proteus 2K for 
bass lines and pads and also some loops and one shots from the mpc's internal sampler... 

Just curious if anyone else is using this sort of combo (even if it's an mpc 1000) and if so, 
how are you controlling the sequence changes etc... I am asking this because I want to be 
focusing on one machine to do the sequence changes... which one would you use, how do 
you go about either making program changes from the mpc to the MD or use the MD to flip 
the sequences on the MPC... 

one more thing... don't know of this has been discussed already but I would definately love 
elektron to make the mutes triggerable from an external peice of gear.... by this I mean 
making it possible to make mute mappings in the mpc to flip the mutes and without being in 
song mode...
