Thanks for your post David. Looks like an interesting piece of gear you have there. 

Is it strictly MIDI or does it handle word-clock too?

Also, how do you integrate MD into PT? 

Do you compose in song mode in MD and then run it as a Midi slave to PT? 

Or do you actually record your MD patterns/sounds into PT and then paste it together? 

Or do you trigger the MD's sounds via the PT sequencer?
