I have to confess- I *also* had a friend over a while back and I was  
using my MD connected to the mains w/out conditioning/filtration.  It  
crashed and in the process erased all of the pattern data; all of the  
instruments.

I'm sure that part of the problem is the casing, but you would think  
that the power supply would do more cleanup than it does...  Maybe not.

I have since only used it (not for this reason tho!) w/ a furman  
power conditioner and have never experienced a problem since.

It would really be helpful if Elektron would research this a bit more  
in order to develop their power supply further.  For now, we have a  
solution, but that also means that 9/10 times you'll have to bring a  
power conditioner to a show.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
