if you are recording, the record light is on, and you will clear, paste and
copy tracks.  If not recording, the light is off and you will manipulate
patterns....

a track solo would be cool....

also cool....would be if one of the kick machines....let you
put a *positive* pitch envelope on the kick...this would be good for
jungle bass......

Also would be cool if 0 for the NOIS in the kick drum completely eliminated
the noise at the beginning of hte kick, leaving 1 to be the smallest amount
of noise.
