Updating patches & O/S from MPC2000

Has anyone attempted to load patches into a Sisdstation or the 
updated operating system into a Machinedrum, from an Akai MPC2000 ?

I don't have a PC at home, so am going to have to try both of the 
above; any advice would be appreciated.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
