Hey, I spent the whole friday in trying to fix the MD and it ...worked! The power converter was not the problem, it was the machine. A very friendly guy from a local "midi school" brought me and the MD to a repairshop. The "shop" looked more like a mix between a broken gear collector and a car repair. But they know how to fix things here in Mexico. So, the part that was broken was some controller of the power unit. It looks like a transistor (with metal cooling unit). The construction seemed a bit not so well (sorry elektron). Basically that cooler is swinging free to the side, it\ufffds just attached with some silicone glue. The glue was loose (also the one on the 2nd cooler), so the thing was swinging in the air, and one of the 3 contacts was broken because of all that swinging. There was also the problem that the cooler could have touched the chassis, which would have been not so good. But good luck, he fixed it and the machine is running, So I could play! The concert was amazing! Yee, another interesting thing: They hand-manufacture knobs there. So, if anyone has an old synth where 1 knob is missing.... Thanks Splank
