Please consider using all of them :) 
AFAIK there are 127, not all of them are usuable I know. But I don't
think the Sidstation utilizes all of them.
And Joeri's suggestion about using two midi channels was brilliant.

Its not so subtle when using a distortion effect on a resonating filter!
