oooh...stay away from the yamaha a series....I have had an a4000 for the past year and it has given me more than a few headaches...the sound architecture is fine and all, in fact there is just one problem with it....but the problem is so glaring that it almost kills the creative potential of the instrument...and that problem is *drum roll* the knobs...the knobs are just downright awful.....it seems like there's a little telepathic demon living in each one, who knows what you're trying to do with the knob and causes it to do the exact opposite....I don't know what kind of crappy knob supplier yamaha is doing business with, but it really just kills the potential of the sampler, IMO. Trust me, it sounds like something you could adjust to but after a year, I still curse them every time I use them, and many bursts of inspiration have died at their stubborn hands.... ok, my rant is over. > > > Now i am hesitating between several sampler... Lol... > > > Hesitating between EMU E6400, Yamaha A5000 and other.
