Hello, I've had the machinedrum for a few weeks now... and I've been using it non-stop since I got it. First off, the Machinedrum is perfect for anyone wishing to take a step onto new grounds. I personally write experimental folk music (don't laugh) and I've made some very interesting kits just by lightly digging into the parameters. It covers a really large range of sounds, and for what it does, no other single drum module can do. The thing that sets the machinedrum into its own category, Is the tactile sound creation interface. If taking your time to do sound design is your thing, you'll love this box. The only one thing I would really want is a slightly more agressive kick. Something with more bite and long decay (that is to say, i've already made a few using the EFM kick, which are excellent, but another variation wouldn't hurt) Advocate of new machines, -Danny http://www.masslab.com/
