Perfect beatmatching skill doesn't make a DJ good. In my opinion, perfect beatmatching skill is already *ASSUMED* if one calls oneself a DJ. It's just a given. If a DJ can't beatmatch he or she needs to lose the name DJ and go back to the bedroom and practice for another year or two. Once they have that down, what makes a DJ good is ability to play the "correct" record that will both mix well with the previous record and keep building up the music for the sake of moving the crowd/listener. And that takes even more practice, and also the ability to read an audience... which a lot of DJs will never get the hang of.
