I got my SidStation about a week ago, and have spent a lot of time trying to get an interesting sound out of it. I can't believe the silly design faults they've made. For instance, why not have a bigger screen so that you don't have to confusingly navigate through different "pages"? And why not have a few more knobs so you don't have to select a parameter before you can alter it? Simplicity is great, but the design layout of the SidStation is so simple that operating it, working with it, is made complicated. As I said before, I've got an Ensoniq Fizmo, and I honestly can't find a sound yet on the SidStation that I couldn't have done a lot quicker and better on the Fizmo. It just seems to be an awkward little box. Please explain to me that I've got it very wrong. Col.
