The Virus filters are imo the nicest digital filters I've heard to date
and they have no stepping at all (and believe, I'm also very critical
when it comes to that :-).
And don't forget the SidStation has an audio input as well and great
filters! I use it as filter box very often!

I'm not so impressed by the original MS20 filter (have MS20 and MS50 in
the studio). I recommend the Sherman Filterbank and then the Mutronics
Mutator for analog filtering. Nothing beats the Sherman though... if
only I had the money for their limited Quad filter... :-(

It can also be integrated in trance very well. Just started using it
more intensively in some trance mixes and with some extra FX it's just
perfect.

And if you play this sequence very fast, you can make drumsounds with
it. (taught by the master himself: Daniel! Thanks for this trick, it's
great!)
