No, unfortunately not.

Sonic State recorded 9 minutes directly from the mixer to a DAT. It's
all the Monomachine playing presets in multi-trig mode and moving the
joystick around.. They have an mp3 at:
http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=1334

It doesn't sound very good though because they recorded with some
autolimiter which takes all dynamics out of the sound.

My favourite starts around 4 minutes (digipro). The FM demo after
that one is very cool in real life, but seems to have been too much
for the DAT. Also check Andrews acid-track coming around 8:20.

I'm happy to hear that. :)

We will now start selling through some selected US dealers as well.
They will be published at the partners page of the Elektron site when
we're ready.

They started shipping today!

Hmmm... I don't know how you can set up the chaospad, but the
joystick is controlled by pitchbend for left and right, modwheel for
up, and cc#02

Just another note on the sound quality: The Monomachine is kind of
special, because we haven't tried to get the most number of voices
out of the unit, rather we have spent enormous amounts of DSP power
into the six tracks we have, to get everything as good as we want. We
use two high spec DSP's for six tracks, and we use audio hardware
like Crystal DA/AD and Burr Brown amplifiers that should be a
guarantee that we get the best transients and dynamics out of it. We
have tried to be perfectionists! :)
