hi all, good to hear some responses!! i've only had a chance yet to check roonan's mp3z, nice stuff man! i understand they're just demos so i won't crit much, but the synthesis is really great and you've got great taste in pattern structure and track composition. the only thing i don't like is the echoed lady's voice twords the end of 003. it sounds like you're having fun w/ your machines, and i'm glad yorr tunez are a lot better than your site ;D ... are you using song mode for these? the local elektron rep guy says he uses almost exclusivly live mode on his md. conrex records??? is that a net label??? i havn't heard of it before, but looks good, leeching that shit ... i run a mailing list for net labels to post their releases 2 (netlabelreleases@yahoogroups.com mr d. (?) from boulder (sorry, internet is really slow right now) ... i'm very interested in how your performance comes out, looking forward to the mixdown! being a hardsid owner + gameboy producer right now, i feel kind of silly having interest in a very expensive machine that emulates another chip ... and comming from tracking i wonder if i'll feel cheezy with the experience of hacking at a 16stepper w/ knobs rather than my lines of lines . . . on the other hand, what attracts me so much to elektron gear is the sequencer and how tigtly it is tied with the sound generators. in my mind, that makes the monomachine a prime platform for a chip-minded composer .... 6 channels of monophonic polyphany sounds real good to me, i don't understand all this 24 voice talk, i'm used to milking chords with arpeg, love it or leave it!!! same goes for the person who said the monomachine sounds like a digital softsynth ... guess what, it is ;D ... DSP? heh. elektron gave plenty of outputs for you to run the thing through your ms20 filter and tube amps if u want to? i would rather have that sort of set up than some fragile tubes built into my 1000$ machine (esx1 :O ) hmm , so yeah, if i got a monomachine i'd probobly be using just that ... maybe synched to my gameboy and a controler kb of some sort (cz101 or bass station catching my eye right now, any one have other favortite for other portable/small midi synth/samplers? ;) ... ok! <3 j.ordan --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "endlessnessisticman" <endlessnessisticman@y...> wrote: > That dodge ball crap is crazy.
