Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi, I have owned every piece of elektron gear at one point or 
another and I now have my hands on a MM.  So far I like it a lot.  I 
have the latest OS installed, but I seem to be having a problem.  
When I switch the preset patterns in the MM that have different 
kits, everything sounds as it should.  But I tried creating my own 
patterns and when I switch from any of my own patterns with 
different kits, the sounds in the new pattern sound all messed up.  
The ONLY way that I can remedy this is by selecting each individual 
track of my pattern and triggering a step button to initialize each 
track's sound prior to starting my pattern.  I am absolutely 
baffeled... I do not understand why the presets function normally.  
I would really like to be able to chain patterns with different kits 
together... Can anyone please help a very frustrated MM owner?
