I've got an inquiry, off topic... Why are people so interested in what other folks use to get their music done? I've never understood this one... well, that's not entirely true, I thought like this eaaaaaarly on when I had no idea what anything was, but pretty quickly it became clear that most of the tools available are insanely powerful, and as long as you're pretty good about doing a bit of demo use and manual reading pre purchase, you'll be amply enabled. So, since then, I've just looked at how I'm producing right now, what seems to be a barrier, and I find software or kit to facilitate that. Occasionally, I've hoped for 'inspiring' gear, and bought something somewhat randomly. This only worked with the Machinedrum, for me. Is it really a goal for so many people to be cover musicians? Wanting that specific synth with the hopes of getting that specific sound? Is that the case? I really am sincerely baffled by the whole kit list mindset. Why do people care?
