I think it's a bug, but I don't know if it's ever been reported. I've dealt with it for a while now. mainly if I set up a lock on a step to change the parameter, it will only do so if the values of the program change are different than the default values (those used on all other steps). maybe you should email Elektron to notify them of it. > another thing that is annoying me big time is that after playing a > song you need to press stop TWICE before you can load another song > (think of a live situation when you need to load a new song > quickly)... double stop = all notes off. so I'm not surprised you have to trigger it to change songs (though I don't remember ever running into it as a problem). by the way, in the works for me is an MD/MnM software editor/librarian. one feature is that it will enable one to concatenate several songs together into a single song. that way, you can play all of your songs seamlessly if you want to. of course, the maximum row length limitation will still apply. but it's pretty large (256, I think), so it shouldn't be too big of a problem. until then, you can do the same thing with a *whole lot* of cut and paste :-) Joe [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
