Elektron Musical Instruments

i've already sent this to elektron support, but i thought i'd troll for knowledge here,
as well.

hello, elektron -

i've been having some problems with my machinedrum.

everything will start out okay, but as time goes on, certain functionalities will
"disappear":

sequencing in extended mode, i can't delete notes in a sequence by simply tapping them.
i have to [function + clear + tap note] to delete them, or change to classic mode.

if i have a sequence that runs 32 beats, i can't switch to the second page in either
classic or extended mode.  i'll tap and tap, but the page won't turn.  that's no
good if the song's reached a point when the cowbell just isn't appropriate ;)


...both of these problems are redressed by a power-cycle, but neither of these are very
conducive to live performances! 

any thoughts you would share are greatly appreciated.
