HELP!neverending table?!?

HELP!neverending table?!?

2001-03-25 by step laub

i programmed a table mixed with all asignable features and looped it at step
8. the srange thing about it is that it never stops playing- there is a
steady sound output no matter if a note is played on the keyboard! i just go
to the place where this patch is stored, push enter to select the patch,
press a note on my keyboard and then this table voice plays up to eternity!
there is no release, only sustain. i cant find out how it works. its not
very bad. in fact its a cool thing for that patch. other table patches work
normaly. is there a secret or does my sidstation has bse? i hope everything
is ok since it boots not correctly sometimes....

in fact two entries at the pitch value looks like this "F:5"!
it´s not possible to enter ":" in the table i guess and i don´t know
how it comes in. i coorected that although i tried different things at
the table to see if it´s depend on the setup. maybee you do same thing
as i.. edit the factory-patch "a walkloop" and go to osc2, activate
the table. please contact me if it works. stephan;)

just a note...
no more neverending table on my sidstation ;-( i figured out that this
was a bug in the table number 2. strange things were going on in every
patch in table 2... last night i edit the drunken table and my
sidstation has it´s first system crash!! it was a shock seeing this
strange messages on the display - but i did a dump of my patches a day
before and after a reset everything was ok - but there is no
neverending table - neverevermore - i guess - 8)

mobile MDing

2001-09-06 by splank!

Huhu,

maybe elektron can give an advice how to built a mobile Power-Supply for MD.
I know they are very special with those power-supplies,
so I wouldnt just try to use a Battery with the details written on the
supply.

The MD is pretty much a standallone-unit, and it would be fun to be able to
play around on the beach, in the plane, in the car.

I've been running my MD off an AC inverter in my car quite happily. An
EE friend of mine says the square waves my AC inverter generates are
actually better for voltage regulators than the sinusoidal AC...

MD Bug ?

Hello!

Just assigned a track to single out "C".
fine.
Then another one to "C"
Hu, the volume of the first Sound was increased!
Then A third one to "C"
Hu, the volume of the first Sound was increased more!

That means the Single output was getting louder the more sounds
were assigned....
