hi,

I transfered from my monomachine to my PC (Windows XP)a pair of
patterns+kits. From the Midi OUT of the monomachine to the midi IN of
my external card M-audio Quattro and from the M-audio usb to the PC usb
port.
The data was saved with the MIDI-OX software for windows XP version and
I think is ok until now, the saved files are in "MIDI-OX SysEx"
extension. But now I wonder how I can send that files to the
monomachine again, I was checking the file>sysex recv options [pag.95
in the manual...] ,but I have doubts...
I need the midi yoke application too? (from http://www.midiox.com/ too)
and connect the ports by this way? = PC usb to the usb port of the
audio card and the midi out port to the midi in of the monomachine...?

Hope this post will be not confusing for you users.
Any help is welcome,
Jorge.

I know little but:
what i do is change the whole kit+patterns, so every archive is a group of
ideas that i want to play together, this way I load a whole live set every
time depending on my needs. And midi Ox has worked fine for this. There is an
option in the mnm of locating the kits and pat. secifically, but I havent
investigated this option much because the manual doesnt tell much about it
and I didnt succed the first times. Changing a Whole set seems ok for me
for the moment.
And also your card will be always connected to your computer through the
usb cable, so everything (audio and midi) will go through it.As sysex files
are a kind of midi message, Midi-Ox will need a midi port.
hope that helps,
Nice music,
Uri.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
