MD knob problem

MD knob problem

2001-08-20 by parker.andrew@btinternet.com

Hi all,

I was programming away on the MD last night and 1 of the knobs failed
(it wont increase or decrease in value at all and when it does its
very erractic). I suspect a wire has come loose or something, it
hasnt been banged or got dirt in it. I've tried all the reset modes
to no avail.

Anyway, I've already emailed support but im just wandering if anyone
else has had any knob problems (no pun intended) ;).

Andy

Hi,
my MD was delivered kinda damaged. One of the buttons wouldn't go in
quick edit when pressed. I mailed support, sent my MD over, got it
back fixed one day later, charge free and all ! It seemed like a
hardware problem and they fixed it all and stuff.
Talk about support !
So I invite you to do the same ! :-)

Machine Drum Questions

2001-08-21 by lotek@SOFTHOME.NET

Just got a machine drum and joined the list!
Question 1- When is the new os coming out? Are there new features?
Question 2- is it or will it be possible to map a drum to a ket, right now
it seems you can only trigger patterns.

Thanks
matt

No, I had it sent via DHL but they let me use their account so it
didn't cost me one cent. Amazingly nice but kinda normal I guess.
Anyway, I was highly appreciative.
As for them not answering, it's august, so they might take some
holidays... I guess... I've had problem with a nanoloop and the guy
was having some, so.... Be a little patient maybe... Hard ? I guess:-)

MD Routing

2001-08-21 by splank!

Hello!

Just tried to configure the single outputs. Hmmm.
I think it\ufffds a bit sad that only (L)(R) can be used as Stereo output,
it would be cooler if you could assign a sound also to (E)(F)
to still be able to use the internal panning.

The internal panning is a great feature if you use it on the single steps
or if you assign a LFO to pan.

So, we have 6 outputs, but you can only assign a sound to a single output,
not
two of them.

If we could route to pairs, I'd also like to be able to route the master
effects to a certain pair of individual outputs, or multiple pairs of
outputs at the same time, instead of just the master L & R outputs.
Although I assume the effects are hardwired to the master L&R outputs,
and not controlled through software.

cheers
