About one and a half year ago someone posted a link of an mp3 from a two
people MD only live act. Don't know if it still exists, or where, but it was
*very cool*!!

I vaguely remember the same - didn't they play at one
of the Elektron parties, Sept 2002???  Check the
Elektron site, might be something in the archives...

Exactly! That was it! The mp3 was on line for a couple of days, and then
they took it away.

Was it valve.mp3? That was two guys on MD's I think. I dl'ed it back then
and the others. The one I didn¹t get was the MD splank? one I think, that
one was taken down fast.

you're thinking of the zombie nation set (the one that was taken away).
the valve set is the machinedrum-duo set and it is in fact still online.

(remove the "/audio/valve.mp3" part to see photos and such)

it's large, but well worth the time to download it.

I think someone said it was under the large encoder wheel.  Go ask
elektron.

yes it is!  it is in fact one of the main reasons I decided to get the MD.

note that Nils (1/2 of valve) also did the songs on the machinedrum.com
site under the name "Odegaard." these are also quite amazing (the string
and Rhodes piano sounds especially).
