Elektron-based Live Show 02.14.2004.

2004-02-14 by davealex_obliq

Hello all.

Well, I have to say that the MonoMachine is truely revolutionary
from a performance perspective (we already knew this about the MD,
which we own 2 as well). Nathan & I are putting on a show using
nothing but Elektron gear tomorrow night. We will have a MD and 2
MM hooked up to the Fiske Planetarium augmented system tomorrow
night, 02.14.2004 in Boulder Colorado. Our set starts at 10:00 pm
in the dome. We plan to showcase our experiences with these
machines and wanted anyone interested in these machines to come and
see them in action. Our project is Freq Modif (http://obliq.net)
and additional show information can be found at
http://www.heartheearth.org/index2.html. Hope to see you there...if
anyone is interested in saying hi, meet us by the Zeiss after our
set!

After the show we plan on having a proper mix-down and we'll share
some of the tracks electronically for those who can't make the show
but are interested in the sounds we are creating with these
wonderful machines! Note that because of lack of preparation time
we scrapped the Fenix and MiniModular that were being controlled by
the MM (and routed through it); but trust me, we'll be demonstrating
the potential of the MM and analog/modular gear here shortly!
Thanks Elektron!!!
