STOP BUYING GODDAMMIT!!!!

STOP BUYING GODDAMMIT!!!!

2001-01-25 by fs1r@hotmail.com

I think everyone should stop buying sidstations until after I buy
mine. I want a SS but I recently got the chance to buy a Virus B for
only two thirds the usual price, so now my credit card is maxxed out
and I can't afford to buy a SS for the next month or two.

Of course I thought to myself "no need to worry, look there are over
a
hundred left" but nooOOooo, the chip counter seems to be going down
faster than Whitehouse interns. One day it's over a hundred, then the
next in the nineties, then the eighties, and now the seventies. At
this rate I'll never get one unless someone knows of a New Zealand or
Australian distributor that I can contact.

You're all a bunch of mean bastards. So there.

i am wondering: why doesn't elektron (when all chips are gone) sell
the sidstation without the chip? there are enough people who have
an old c64 in the attic, just buy one cheap and rip out the mos6581.

Hey... y'know it's not necessarily musicians that are buying all the Sidstations...

Check out places like drummachine.com, they're selling Sids cause they
bought a bunch. That's where I got mine. I'm sure there are other
places out there.

Later,
Stan
