creat your loop points in sound forge then load the looped wave files into awave create keymap with the multisamples
then do as many multisamples as your memory can hold 1mb or 2mb or 4mb or 8mb
once done and you have several keymaps created then save as sf2 file
load the sf2 file into the emxp images folder then translate the sf2 into an emax2 bank
this is the quickest way i have found in doing it specially with the emax2 as they dont have the same rs intefacing as the emax 1
once you have your bank create save to zip or cf card and load then you can go about doing presets
this is how i do it on the emax1 also
and how i do it on the e4ultra and my eIII

thank you. i may need to replace ic chip. I just attemped everything on another older pc and no success with a sample dump. it wouldnt be a big deal not being able to do sds, i just don't want to fiddle around with loop points on the emax. it's so much easier and precise to set loop points with soundforge. but when a sound needs to be played on an emax, there's no substitute in my opinion.
i'm going to look around for an old soundblaster 16 and give it a try.Message
