Re: [emax] How to update banks created with other operating system?

2015-12-15 by Ted Summers

I don’t know how to be more clear.

You made HxC images (HFE files I think?).
Each one you did with emaxos.emx which is 3.2 version of software. (except for 1 which is SE 1.1 that you successfully tested with)

You would need to take each HFE file (which has OS 3.2) and rebuild it, using SE 1.1 version of OS (which would now become the new emaxos.emx) and put THAT in each HFE file / image.

As to the Factory HD images- I don’t think you understood what I was saying here either.

1. The Factory HD images (link already provided to you) contain all the freely available PUBLIC DOMAIN non-copyrighted banks which you may use as you wish.

2. You can use EMXP to EXTRACT the banks from the HD images and save them in the computer. You would now have a copy of all the factory banks of sounds.

3. You then may take those banks and put them in your HxC HFE images.

	Hello,

I have a sd card running in a HXC floppy emulator with different sounds banks but they were created with the 3.2 version, recently I have updated to the SE upgrade (1.1) and when I go to the options, for example, analog processing or whatever, display show "different software rev" , How should I update these banks and enjoy with the SE features?

Thank you in advance.

Óscar.
