Stephen, as I told you before, the problem with Emax's sequencer has occured after upgrading it using Emaxutil for me. My Emax was a HD model with an OS HD 1.1 version. I upgraded it to SE first and then to Plus and when I tried to use the Supermode utility to have the 16 part multitimbrality, I had the same problem than you: Please insert Disk... and crash. First, I tried to boot my Emax with a HD 1.1 floppy and the sequencer was back again. Then, I decided to install everything from scratch one more time and now it's OK. Follow each step carefully using E-MU SE Upgrade Instructions. (That's available on the net). Good luck! But be sure that if your floppy drive is OK to load sounds, it can't be broken. Electronic stuffs are not esoterics: it's OK or it's Out Of Order. It can't be good for things and bad for others. Keep this rule in mind. See you! Yahoo!
