Emax

Hello list!

I have a (probably very simple) question..

I have a while ago been given 2 non-working emaxes, both with fried power 
supplies and one with fried floppy drive..

One of these emaxes also came equipped with an internal hd, but as it is 
closing in on 20 years old, I'm thinking of putting in an old scsi zip 100 
drive into it instead and all that..

BUT ... my problem is: how do i transfer the os from the harddrive (or from 
diskette) to the zipdrive that i was plannign on making internal?

Also, if i've read it correctly on emulatorarchive, all i really need to do 
is take out the harddrive, and set my zipdrive as SCSI id 100 and it should 
hopefully try to boot from the zipdrive instead..

BUT .. the emax doesnt support larger drives than 20 MB ... so ... i take it 
i need to format the zipdisk into a format the emax can understand..

of course, to make matters harder, the old emaxes i was given had been given 
a rather crude paint job, and this none of the old menu buttons are visible, 
so i really have no idea what button does what at this point .. ;)

I am refurbishing the emaxes for live use with my band .. i'll post images 
when the first one is ready ;)

in the mean time, i'd appreciate a little help .. also .. where can i change 
what midi channel the emax is transmitting on?
