Remember if you are not going to do the external Zip Mod you will need to make sure
the new power supply can handle the Zip, the original power supply can't.

When you run the format command from any bootable media (floppy or hard drive) it
automatically copies the OS as part of the process.

If you have the Zip set to the same ID as the hard drive then yes, it will try to boot from
the SCSI ID assigned to the hard drive first.

The only way to format a srive for Emax use is with the Emax itself, it has it's own
proprietary format scheme. It will ignore anything beyond the 20Mb it can format.

Download the manual in pdf format from wither my site or the Emulator Archive. It's not
as good as having the menu on the unit itself, but what can you do!

I can't quite remember it's been a long time, but it should be somewhere in the Master |
Special menu. Try pressing Master then using the slider to see the name of all the
menus, I think it might be Master | 0 (Special) | 2 Midi Master .. but hat could be wrong
too ..
